Formhand Gripper Module FH-R15
The FH-R150 gripping module is our all-rounder.
It consists of a frame and a gripping cushion.
The Formhand gripping cushion handles almost any object.
With its 150mm diameter, it succeeds in gripping several different and complex objects, as the gripping module adapts to the geometry and surface of the components without any gaps.
The magic lies in the blue cushion: It is filled with a free moving granulate. When gripping, the gripping cushion adapts to the object, thereby creating a sealed system.
This shape adaptation is followed by the evacuation of the round gripping cushion, which thus adapts to the surface in a form-fitting manner. During gripping, the gripping force is transferred to the entire surface covered by the object to be gripped, which leads to gentle object handling due to the low pressure difference, and also enables a load capacity of 8 kg despite the small size.
Other companies use Formhand modules in their systems, e.g. as universal grippers or clamping elements, in order to save additional costs due to the need for special grippers and set-up times.
The gripper cushion can be filled with different granulates and can therefore be adapted to specific applications.
Should you ever want to make adjustments, the gripper cushion is attached to the frame module with a quick-release fastener and can thus be changed quickly.
